Biography
Muhammad Zahid Khan (Urdu: محمد زاہد خان b. 14 April 1956) is a Pakistani Politician and Member of Senate of Pakistan, currently serving as Chairperson- Senate Committee on Water and Power.
Political career
He belongs to Dir District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, and was elected to the Senate of Pakistan in March 2009 on general seat as Awami National Party candidate. He is the chairperson of Senate Committee on Water and Power and member of senate committees of Communications, Information Technology & Telecommunication and Parliamentary Affairs. He is the central spokesman of Awami National Party.
