Biography
Mohammed Abdus Shahid (মোঃ আব্দুস শহীদ) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent Member of Parliament from Maulvibazar-4.
Early life
Shahid was born on 1 January 1948. He completed his Masters in Communication.
Career
Shahid was elected to Parliament in 1991, 1996, 2001, 2008 and on 5 January 2014 from Maulvibazar-4 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate. He was the previously the chief whip of the opposition when Awami League was the opposition party. Abdus Shahid was also the former President of Moulvibazar District Awami League.
