Valerie Campos

Valerie Campos (born December 25, 1983 in Mexico City) is a Mexican artist.

Her work was selected in the 4th Biennale of Yucatán, 2009; Artemergente Monterrey in 2010; the 1st International Print Biennial "José Guadalupe Posada" in 2013 and Artfest in 2006.

She is a fellow of FONCA-CONACULTA in the Young Artists (2014/2015) program in the national competition sponsored by the National Fund for Culture and the Arts of Mexico.

Campos lives and works in Mexico City.

• Artist in residence at the Lawrence Arts Center in Kansas, USA from 2014 to 2015
• Artist in residence at the d'Xu Yuan Centre in Beijing, China 2013-2014
• Artist in residence at the Banff Centre in Canada in 2011
• Artist in residence at the Red Gate Gallery of China in 2013.

She also benefited from the 'Stimulus Program Creation and Artistic Development, PECDA of Oaxaca in 2013.
