Biography
Torkil Olsen (født 31. mars 1922, død 6. januar 2001) var en dansk bibliotekar, konstituert rigsbibliotekar fra 1982–86.
Torkil Olsen grunnla under Niels Bohr et nytt forskningsbibliotek på Risø (Atomenergikommisionens Forsøgsanlæg Risø). I 1965 ble han ansatt som overbibliotekar ved Odense Universitetsbibliotek som han også var med til å bygge opp. Senere ble han rigsbibliotekar med daglig ledelse av Det Kongelige Bibliotek i København.
