Topher Hall is an American musician and businessperson.
Personal life
Topher Hall is originally from Leesburg, Virginia. He graduated from George Mason University in 2014.
Music career
As a guitarist and a singer/songwriter, Hall toured the west coast of the US with the bands Burn Proper and Nothing Special, and signed a record deal with Geffen. He left the music world for a time after being involved in a drug overdose related car crash in 2010, after which he volunteered with the Prison Fellowship program. In the mid-2010s, he began performing under the name Idalee. His debut EP under this moniker was Starting Now, which featured the single "Heal" that was inspired by his work with prisoners. Others are further inspired by his journey into sobriety and otherwise repairing his life.
Business career
In 2015 he founded Sprolo LLC, the name of which is derived from the phrase "simple, proven, local". Through the company, Hall developed the web and social media presence for local companies looking to use the Internet. He is the principal consultant for the company, and manages a group of contract consultants that execute work for different clients.
Film career
He produced several short films focusing on the lives of prisoners.
