Tomi Joutsen

Tomi Joutsen (born April 30, 1975) is a Finnish musician best known as the vocalist (since 2005) of the metal band Amorphis.
He is also a member of the bands Corpse Molester Cult (2008-) as the guitarist and backing vocalist, and Feelings as the drummer. He was formerly in the bands Käsi/Funeral Jacket (1995-1999) as the vocalist, The Candles Burning Blue as the drummer, and Sinisthra as the vocalist/frontman.

He performs both harsh and clean vocals, a contrast to the more traditional heavy metal and punk rock style high-pitched vocals of previous Amorphis singer Pasi Koskinen. Joutsen's voice style is very deep, similar to a gothic metal singer in the vein of Nick Holmes from Paradise Lost and Peter Steele of Type O Negative.
