Thomas Martin ye un paleontólogu alemán destacáu nel campu de la mamaloxía. Ello ye, que ye'l direutor de la seición de mamaloxía nel Forschungsinstitut Senckenberg en Frankfurt del Meno. Ye caderalgu en paleontoloxía y profesor na Universidá de Bonn, Alemaña. Suel encargase d'analizar los últimos descubrimientos de mamíferos prehistóricos, como por casu Castorocauda lutrasimilis.
