Steve Kidwiller
Quick Facts
Biography
Steve Kidwiler is a former member of the Los Angeles-based punk rock band NOFX. He joined NOFX when the guitarist Dave Casillas left the band after the recording of their debut album Liberal Animation (1988). NOFX released two albums with Kidwiler: S&M Airlines (1989) and Ribbed (1991).
Kidwiler left NOFX shortly after the release of Ribbed and was replaced by Aaron Abeyta (a.k.a. El Hefe).
Later, Kidwiler founded a cowpunk band named Speedbuggy with Patrick Muzingo (drums) and Timothy Gruse (vocalist/guitarist who played with Sugartooth for a short time in 1994). The band changed its name to Speedbuggy USA after finding out about a Canadian band called Speedbuggy. They released their first album titled "Cowboys & Aliens" in 2000 and in 2002, they released their next album Round Up. Kidwiler eventually left the band after their first European tour, due to personal reasons.
In February 2009, Kidwiler reunited with NOFX for the first time in 18 years for their 25th anniversary special shows.
