Biography

Stephanie Jameson (born January 23, 1982 in North Vancouver, British Columbia) is a field hockey player from Canada, who was first selected in the Junior Women's National Team for the 1999 National Camp and series against USA Junior. The former midfielder, now defensive player, is the sister of men's national team player David Jameson. She grew up with hockey because her mother played on the Women's Senior National Team.
She is the most capped Canadian field hockey player of all time, with 168 caps. She is currently studying for a Masters in Sport Management at the University of Ulster, Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is currently playing for the Ulster Elks hockey team, and wears the #3 jersey, due to her love of Norse mythology, where the number 3 is a very significant number.
