Stan Ivar (born January 11, 1943) is an American film and television actor known for his roles in Little House on the Prairie (1982-1983), The Bronx Zoo (1988), Days of Our Lives (1994-1996), and The Practice (2000-2004).
Ivar was born on January 11, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York. He made his screen debut in 1963, aged 20, in the television series General Hospital. In 1982-83, he had the recurring role of John Carter in the TV series Little House on the Prairie.
Ivar's other major television credits include episodic roles in Simon & Simon (1987), Beauty and the Beast (1988), The Bold and the Beautiful (1988), Who's the Boss? (1990), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), Star Trek: Voyager (1995), and Just Shoot Me! (1998).
His last role was as "Former NCIS Special Agent Ben Robinson" in two episodes of NCIS in 2010.
