Biography

Sophia Amalia Lau (født 15. april 1841 i Bergen, død 29. september 1863 i Bergen) var en norsk skuespillerinne.

Sophia Amalia Lau var datter av kontorist og senere kjøpmann Carl Christopher Henrich Lau og Christine Marie Jørgensen. Hun forlovet seg, men døde før vielsen kunne finne sted.

Lau debuterte 23. oktober 1859 ved Det norske Theater i fødebyen Bergen i rollen som Estella i Onkels Hemmelighed.

Hun forlot teatret ved utgangen av vårsesongen 1861.
