Sonia Beytoushi (born 1991) is an Iranian model, stylist, fashion designer and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned as Miss Iran 2016 and Miss Universe Iran 2019.
Personal life and career
Beytoushi was born in 1991 in Mahabad, Iran. She graduated with a degree in Information Technology from the University of Tehran.
In 2008, she began to pursue a career in fashion design in order to bring her design work to life. She is the owner of the Asian Makeup brand, Zapidoll Cosmetics Incorporation, which she founded in 2009. The same year, she launched her first fashion collection.
In 2011, Sonia published a book entitled A girl from the sky, then donated the book proceeds to the Iranian child welfare organisation.
Pageantry
Miss Iran 2016
Beytoushi began her pageantry career and continued her modeling career as she competed at Miss Iran 2016. She won and succeeded outgoing titleholder Atefeh Eskandari.
