Biography
Smoke Dawg is a Canadian rapper that hails from Toronto with Trinidad Jamaican and Somali roots. Smoke Dawg has stated this on Toronto prime time radio. Dawg is a member of the Toronto Halal Gang (Safe, Puffy L'z, Mo-G and Smoke Dawg). Responsible for one of the hottest underground trap songs of 2015, Smoke Dawg created a remix to "Trap House", featuring New York native French Montana. He has also collaborated with a key icon in Grime Music, known as Skepta, with song "Overseas". He is also associated with the Toronto music group known as Full Circle which includes music group Prime Boys (Jay Whiss, Donnie, Jimmy Prime) and Halal Gang. During the months of February and March 2017, Smoke Dawg was on tour with Drake, opening for the Boy Meet World European tour alongside, fellow Halal Gang member Puffy L'z and another Toronto rapper known as Pressa.
