Biography
Sirodjidin Mukhridinovich Aslov (Tajik: Сироҷидин Мӯҳриддинович Аслов, Persian: سراجالدین اسلاو) (born in 1964) is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan. Minister Aslov previously worked as a Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations from 2006-2013.He was rewarded the Tajik Order of Honor in 2010. Minister Aslov emphasizes the importance of preserving natural wildlife and keeping the water all around the world clean and acceptable for people's health.
Biography
Minister Aslov graduated with an engineering degree in 1986 from Odessa Hydro-Meteorological Institute, Ukraine; Minister Aslov continued his studies by receiving an additional degree in International Economic Relations, from Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan.
In the early stages of Minister Aslov's career - he had several researcher papers published based on the Aral sea. His first transition into politics was through the Ministry of Environmental Protection. In the early 2000s, he made a transition into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; where he was first appointed as Deputy Minister. While being the Deputy Minister of foreign affairs in Tajikistan, Minister Aslov was also Chairman of the Executive Committee for Saving the Aral Sea and the National Coordinator for Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Affairs. After a year as serving Deputy, Minister Aslov was appointed as the Ambassador/Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations as well as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Cuba. After seven years of exemplary work within the United Nations Minister Aslov became the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan
Personal life
He is married, with five children, and speaks Persian, English and Russian.
