Biography
Generalmajor Sigismund-Helmut Konrad Alfred Felix Georg Ritter und Edler von Dawans (23 September 1899 – 10 June 1944) was a general in the Wehrmacht during World War II and a recipient of the German Cross in Gold on 26 August 1942.
Sigismund-Helmut von Dawans was born on 23 September 1899. He married Ingeborg Hane on 6 April 1923 at Blankensee.
Von Dawans was killed during the RAF's attack on Panzer Group West's headquarters at La Caine on 10 June 1944. After the war, von Dawans was buried at La Cambe German war cemetery.
