SCHMIDT Sándor (pro. ŝmit) estis hungara inĝeniero pri minado naskita en Felsőbánya la 12-an de marto 1882 kaj mortinta en Bp. la 12-an de junio 1953.
Biografio
Sándor Schmidt diplomitiĝis en 1904 en akademio de Selmecbánya. De 1902 li laboris en Nagybánya ĉe ŝtata minejo, en 1904 en la valo de Zsil. En 1905 li estis uzunestro en Dorog, en 1911 samloke minejestro. En 1933 li estis la unua en Hungario, kiu akiris la titolon de doktoro pri minado. En 1953 li estis false akuzita, poste arestita, kie li mortis.
