Salamiah Hassan

Salamiah Hassan (born 1951) is a Malaysian singer, famous during the 70s to 90s and yet one of the most evergreen star in Malaysia. She began his career singing at the age of 19 years by winning the talent TV program produced by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) in the 1970s. She made the last song EP invention Ahmad Nawab. Surat Terakhir is one of a very successful track along her carrier. After EP, she performed in a club. She also admitted that despite working at the club, she never drank alcohol even smoking as forbidden by the father. Turns out as a child who listened to the advice. She was quite friendly and very humble,addition to being concerned for others, people who exude humility also act on their compassion. Among people close to her were Datuk Ahmad Nawab, Datuk Freddie Fernandez, Datuk Khatijah Ibrahim, Habsah Hassan, Kassim Masdor and veteran journalist Bahyah Mahmood. On January 8, 2014 she celebrated her artistic career by holding a concert "Gelombang Salamiah Hassan" held at the Istana Budaya. She was involved with the soundtrack album for the film Cinta dan Lagu. Cinta dan Lagu is a soundtrack album featuring other famous singers such as Ahmad Jais, Hail Amir, and many more. The album is specially created for the film Cinta dan Lagu and released in 1976. As a result the track "Berdebar-debar Rasa Hati" and "Sudah Dapat Kata Sepakat" is became evergreen. Just because of the golden voice, she was heavily involved with the project TV ad songs all over Malaysia and also a special theme song of states. This makes her the crowned as the Queen of TV ad Songs beside other stars Francissca Peter and Liza Aziz on the era of 80s & 90s . She has a daughter, Atilia, a Malaysian pop jazz artist. Tirai Terakhir was her album released exactly on her birthday of 10 May 2005. After the Tirai Terakhir, Salamiah Hassan introduced the latest album on 2016 includes the song titled Aku the creation Aubrey and lyrics by Ad Samad. This concept album Malay Classical by Natz Production. The song was included in the latest album contains five songs nostalgia of Bintang Malam, Malam Bulan Dipagar Bintang, Nak Dara Rindu, Mahligai Kayangan, Boleh Dilihat Dipegang Jangan.Because of her uniqueness and valuable experience Salamiah Hassan is remained a diva and a living legend in the Malaysia music industry until these years.
