Russell Geoffrey Banks born 13 November 1981) is an English actor and Writer best known for playing emotionally torn often psychotic antagonist in Horror movies such as Ghost House,pernicious,Cam2Cam and most recently Who's Watching Oliver.
Early life
Russell Geoffrey Banks was born in Northampton but grew up in London with his mother and sister and brother until the age of twelve when they moved to the Isle of Wight Russell was found to have Dyslexia from a young age leaving him behind at school. At the age of fifteen, After a move to live with his father on the third day of attending Harewood College (Previously Portchester School)Russell was expelled after being caught selling fireworks. Over the next five years, he worked many different jobs from a market trader to working in bars and restaurants, as well as cinemas and call centers.
Career
Russell Geoffrey Banks started his film career as an extra then transitioning to a stand in on such movies as Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li,Formosa Betrayed,Shanghai (2010 film) starring John Cusak and thenThe Hangover Part II standing in for Bradley Cooper
After bit parts in such films as The Mark: Redemption With Gary Daniels and Eric Roberts Tekken: Kazuya's Revenge and Dragonwolf. Russell had his first Main role in Goodnight Gloria a film he also co wrote.In Cam2Cam Russell played a homicidal maniac directed by Joel Soisson. Not long afterwards, a Thai-American supernatural horror film called Pernicious directed byJames Cullen Bressack was next on the docket. Russell traveled to India to shoot Vishwaroopam II working with Kamal Haasan Shekhar Kapur Russell then took a role with Benetone Hillin Entertainment for what would be a third time in total to play Mordred in King Arthur and the knights of the round table combined directed by Jared Cohn on this movie Sara Malakul Lane played his mother but would later star along side him in Who's Watching Oliver. Russell Geoffrey Banks returned to the horror genre to work along side Scout Taylor-Compton in Rich Ragsdale's Ghost House.
This year Russell Geoffrey Banks won three awards and was nominated for a further three for his portrayal of Oliver a mentally unstable serial killer in Richie Moore's Who's Watching Oliver (a film Geoffrey Banks also co wrote.).
