Robert Jobson (Born 23 March 1964 in Great Wakering, Essex) is a journalist, author and broadcaster. He is co-author of the international No.1 bestseller Diana: Closely Guarded Secret written with Princess Diana’s Scotland Yard personal protection officer Inspector Ken Wharfe MVO. He is also the co-author of the Sunday Times top 10 non-fiction bestseller Guarding Diana published in 2017, also written with Mr. Wharfe. He also co-wrote Bulletproof, the life story of Royal Marine and George Cross recipient Matt Croucher GC.He has written several successful non-fiction books on the British royal family, including the well received Charles at Seventy: Thoughts, Hopes and Dreams (2018). He has reported on the British Royal Family since 1991 as royal correspondent for UK national newspapers including the Daily Express, The Sun and currently the Evening Standard. He was the recipient of the London Press Club Scoop of the Year award for his world exclusive that Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles were to wed in 2005. Jobson is also Royal Editor for Australia's 7 network top-rated breakfast show Sunrise as well as royal contributor for US network ABC News. He is Royal Consultant for Mark Schwahn's originally scripted series The Royals for E! starring British actresses Elizabeth Hurley and Dame Joan Collins and played cameo roles as himself in series 1, 2, 3 and 4.
