Biography
Robert "Robbie" O'Flynn (born 7 November 1997) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a right wing-forward for the Cork senior team.
Born in Glounthaune, County Cork, O'Flynn first played competitive hurling at Christian Brothers College, Cork. Here he was a member of the first Christians hurling team to win a game in the Harty Cup in 97 years. O'Flynn later lined out with University College Cork.
O'Flynn first appeared for the Erin's Own club at juvenile and underage levels, winning a county under-21 championship medal in 2016. By this stage he has also joined the club's senior team.
Having enjoyed All-Ireland success at under-17 level, O'Flynn was later selected for the Cork minor team. He played for one championship season with the minor team. O'Flynn subsequently joined the Cork under-21 team. By this stage he had also joined the Cork senior team, having made his debut during the 2017 Munster League.
