Biography
• Ramandeep Singh Kapoor (Indian Karate Player) was born in the Capital of India (New Delhi) on 12 January 2000. His Life is somehow incompleted without Karate, because Karate has helped him to reached at best of his level as it teaches Discipline which is the most Important thing to be a Successful Person in the Life.
• He Started Karate Journey at the age of 6 as his Father motivated him to indulge in this Sport. During his School Time when he was in Class 1 he observes that in the last period of my school time which is also known as Activity Period / Zero Period where many different Sports Activities like Volleyball, Basketball, Skating, Karate, Athletics were used to play by many school children’s and he made his mindset to Indulge in Karate.
• Therefore, new chapter of life begins from that day as he started learning karate from Shihan Sarvjeet Singh in school as he played his first karate championship in the year 2007 where he won Gold Medal in the very first tournament from their the interest in karate becomes more and he sets target from that day to become a Black Belt in Karate as he was awarded Best Karate Player of School in year 2009.
• After Playing Many Tournaments Organised by Various Styles, Clubs, Schools, Federations he Became Delhi State Karate Champion in year 2009 (Sub - Junior Category) & Finally in the Year 2013 I Earned My Black Belt in Karate. He Become National Champion in Year 2014. From 2015 onwards my family suggested me to Pause Karate for 1-2 Years because he was upgraded in Class 9 in School which considered as the most Important class in the school level as from there our future career starts co relating. But he still practices Karate when ever gets time in between the Studies.
• In the very next year he was Awarded as the President of Karate Club of School by the Honourable Principal of his School (Dr.Surjeet Kohli). During 12th class he starts continuing training in the Bharat Karate Academy in Janak Puri, New Delhi. Because he wanted to became more better player in the field of Karate. This Era was the most Important of his life as he needs to focus to studies & Game in a balanced mode. After the completion of class 12th where he got 88% and he also focused on the game where he won 12 All India Karate Titles in (Junior Category) like India Open, Independence Cup, Delhi Olympic Games, Delhi Open, Mussoorie Open & Many More.. which was the best Karate Journey year.
• Now the Journey of Karate for him was more difficult as he was shifted to Senior Category and he played his first Senior Category Tournament in July 2019. Thailand Open Karate Championship 2019 as finishes at 7th Place in Senior Category. After the Tournament gets completed right after the next day college begins.
• He starts Pursuing Graduation in Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports from Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. (Amity School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences) He Achieved (8.9 CGPA) 4th Place in his batch. He have also done Diploma in Sports Medicine from John Hopkins University, USA in year 2019. Certification Courses Like Sports Medicine, Human Anatomy as well from International Olympic Committee and Charles Sturt University in Australia 2020. Recently he have Completed Certification Course in Khelo India Physical Education Coaching Program organized By Sports Authority of India and Laxmibai National College of Physical Education, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India in Year October 2020.
• It was Remarkable Journey of Karate life till now specially when he represents India at Various Style, Organised International Tournament’s at Various Places of India and Outside the Nation as well. Last year he had an ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) & Meniscus Tear Injury in the left knee which was happened during his practice session. But he didn’t give up and starts rehab from Injury without any surgery with the helping advise of (Dr. Manu Bora) now he is 100% fine and Rehabilitate himself with Bounce back.
• Presently, Ramandeep is implementing his Karate skills at Xtreme Martial Arts - India, New Delhi. Under Direction of Sensei Aniket Gupta (Captain of Indian National Karate Team) and besides he rebounding Individually too.
• In October 2021, He Clinches 2 Gold Medal's in National Sikh Games 2021, New Delhi. Under the banner of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee.
• Moreover, He won Gold Medal in 21st Delhi State Karate Championship 2021 in Male Individual Kumite Senior -55 Kg Category by Defeating Former National Silver Medalist in the Final Round.
• In June, He Represented Delhi Karate Team in All India Karate Championship 2022 at Pune, Maharashtra.
• Recently, He Completed Graduation with First Division in Sports Sciences from Amity University, Noida – Uttar Pradesh (Amity School of Physical Education & Sports Sciences) Which was 3 Years Under Graduate Degree Programme.
• In November 2022, Ramandeep Won Gold Medal in 6th South Asian Karate Championship 2022, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Raman also secured 1st place in 2nd North India Zone Karate Championship 2022 in the last month of Year.
• Moreover, He won Bronze Medal in All India Karate Championship 2023 in Senior Individual Category & Have Secured himself for the upcoming Asian Games Probables Camp 2023.
• In year 2024, he finished off with Senior National Silver in 55kg Category and Bronze in Team Event as well and Also Win Two Medals in All India Inter University 2023-2024 Session.
• Master of Physical Education from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut - Uttar Pradesh.
• Recently He Became the Coach of Junior Delhi Karate Team for National held in Dehradun and Currently Planning for 2025 Grand Event - National Games.
• Currently himself completed MSc in Sports Medicine and doing research fellowship in the field of Sports Medicine for the Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD).
• In this year itself he missed Bronze medal by 2-3 score at Senior Asian Karate Championship 2024, China and finishes off at 4th Place in 55kg weight category for team Indian National Karate Team.
