Prosper Xander, born Prosper Akporobaro Uzuazor-oghene Xander Eko on November 14, 2003, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Hailing from Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, he was born into the family of Joy and Patrick Eko, from the Kingdom of Emede in Isoko South. Prosper Xander spent his early years in southern Warri with his siblings - Victory, Gloria, Destiny, and Precious - before moving to a suburban town in central Delta State, where his musical journey began.
In the suburb, he discovered his passion for songwriting and eventually met Tsongz, who produced his debut hit single “Do You Know.”
Prosper Xander made history by becoming the first indigenous Nigerian artist to release a Pop song.
