Predrag Šarić (born November 20, 1959) is a Croatian former professional basketball player who played for Šibenka, Zadar and Triglav Rijeka.
Playing career
Šarić in his career played for Šibenka in 1980s with Dražen Petrović. With Šibenka, Šarić was become the Yugoslav First League champion in 1982/83 season. He also was with Šibenka in two times in FIBA Korać Cup against Limoges. In two times, Limoges won.
Later, Šarić played for Zadar and Triglav Osiguranje Rijeka. With Zadar, Šarić was in EuroCup in 1992-93 season. In Triglav Rijeka he played with famous players Danko Cvjetičanin and Mario Primorac. With Triglav, he was at Korać Cup in 1995.
Personal life
Šarić is married to retired professional basketball player Veselinka Šarić who played for Croatian women's basketball club Elemes Šibenik. His son, Dario, is a Croatian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. His daughter, Dana, is also a basketball player who currently plays for Croatia women's national under-16 basketball team.
