Pooja Sawant (Marathi: पूजा सावंत) is an Indian film actress who appears in Marathi movies. She made her debut in Sachit Patil's multistarer film Kshanbhar Vishranti in 2010.
Personal life
Pooja was born in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. Pooja attended Balmohan Vidyamandir, Mumbai and graduated from SIWS College of Science and Commerce. She has appeared in the dance show 'Boogie Woogie' and in the Marathi Dance reality show ‘Eka Peksha Ek Jodicha Mamla.
Career
Pooja started her career in Marathi Industry with multistarer film Kshanbhar Vishranti which acquired cult status among movie lovers.In 2011 she appeared in Zhakaas opposite Superstar Ankush Choudhary,The movie was blockbuster.Pooja Again appeared in another multistarer movie Satrangi Re.
In 2014 she appeared in satire blockbuster movie Poshter Boyz opposite Aniket Vishwasrao.
Apart from films, Pooja has been a part of several Marathi reality shows, including Ek Peksha Ek Jodicha Mamala and Jallosh Suvarnayugacha.
