Biography

Pierre Racicot (born February 15, 1967 in Verdun, Quebec) is a National Hockey League linesman, who wears uniform number 65. He officiated on April 6, 2007 when Martin Brodeur broke Bernie Parent's single season wins record with his 48th win. He worked the 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016 Stanley Cup Finals and the 2006 Winter Olympics. He was also involved in a controversial play during Game 6 of the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals in which Pierre accidentally set up a pick on Anton Volchenkov which eventually resulted in a goal for the Los Angeles Kings.

He reached his milestone 1500th NHL game on January 23rd 2016 when the Tampa Bay Lightning visited the Florida Panthers.
