Peyman Givi

Peyman Givi is an American materials scientist and engineer currently a Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and the James T. McLeod Professor at University of Pittsburgh and previously a Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering at State University of New York and an Elected Fellow o the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Institute of Aeronautics, American Physical Society and ASME. His research interests are applied mathematics, stochastic processes, numerical methods, control and systems and machine design, vibration and shock, thermal-fluid sciences and random data analysis.
