Peter Wegner

Peter Wegner (born 1953, New Zealand) is a Melbourne based figurative painter, sculptor, and draughtsman. Wegner’s awards include the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize in 2006, the Gallipoli Prize in 2013 and is a four-time finalist in the Archibald Prize.

Wegner’s work is held in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra, Art Gallery of New South Wales as well as the State Library of Victoria.
