Pat McMahon

Pat McMahon is a former college baseball coach and professional baseball player. He is best known for his time as the head coach of the University of Florida Gators baseball team from 2001 to 2007.

Pat McMahon played in the Atlanta Braves organization and reached the Triple-A level in the minor leagues. However, he never played in a Major League Baseball (MLB) game.

During his time as the head coach of the Florida Gators, Pat McMahon led the team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances and two College World Series berths. He also won two Southeastern Conference (SEC) Tournament Championships and was named SEC Coach of the Year in 2005.

After leaving the University of Florida, Pat McMahon served as a scout for the Colorado Rockies and later became an assistant coach at Mississippi State University. He also worked as a private consultant for major league organizations and conducted baseball clinics around the country.

As of now, Pat McMahon serves as a scout for the Minnesota Twins organization. He continues to be involved in baseball and shares his knowledge and experience with younger players through various coaching and consulting opportunities.
