Biography
Johan Niels Mattaaq [ˈjoːhæn niːls maˈtːɑːq] (nach alter Rechtschreibung Mátâĸ; * 28. Juli 1937) ist ein grönländischer Politiker (Siumut).
Niels Mattaaq wurde 1991 zum Bürgermeister der Gemeinde Upernavik gewählt. Von 1995 bis 1999 war er für eine Legislaturperiode Mitglied des Inatsisartut. Am 13. August 1997 erhielt er die Kongelige Belønningsmedalje.
