Nelson Tennant (January→March 1923) is an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s, playing at club level for Featherstone Rovers (Heritage № 185), as a scrum-half/halfback, i.e. number 7.
Playing career
Tennant made his début for Featherstone Rovers and scored a try against Huddersfield at Fartown Ground on Tuesday 26 March 1940.

Nelson Tennant is the uncle of Walter Tennant's son, the rugby league footballer; Clive Tennant.
