Biography
Mindy Domb is an American politician who currently serves in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Since 2019 she has represented the 3rd Hampshire district (includes Amherst, Pelham and Precinct 1 in Granby). Immediately prior to being elected in 2019, she was the executive director of the Amherst Survival Center.
Political career
In 2019 Domb said she wanted to co-sponsor bills related to more investment in public education, address economic inequality, protect the environment and respond to the climate emergency , increase access to health care, invest more in public transit (regional transit authorities and rail) and protect the rights of women, the LGBT community, workers, and immigrants. Domb sits on the Joint Committee on Higher Education; the Joint Committee on Revenue; and the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.She is also a member of the House Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures and State Assets.
