Biography
Mijanur Rahman is a Bangladeshi academician. He is the current Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University.
Early life and career
Rahman was born in Comilla in 1953. He received B. Com. and a master's degree in marketing from the University of Dhaka, followed by a Ph.D. degree in business administration from Alighar Muslim University in 1994.
He was appointed as a professor in the Marketing Department of Dhaka University in 1999. Since then, he has published a number of books ("Bazarjatkaran", "Snatak Bazarjatkaran", "Bazarjatkaran Nitimala" and "Bazarjatkaran (Shahaj Sangskaran))" which are well known to the teachers as well as students of business administration.
Rahman was appointed vice-chancellor of Jagannath University on March 20, 2013.
