Micah Shrewsberry (born July 31, 1976) is a former college basketball player and current assistant coach for the Purdue Boilermakers of the Big Ten Conference).
Personal life
Shrewsberry graduated from Cathedral High School. He earned a B.A. from Hanover College and a master's degree in sports management from Indiana State University.
Coaching career
He was the head coach at Indiana University-South Bend for two years from 2005–07 before joining Brad Stevens’ staff at Butler he also has stops at Purdue and Marshall on his resume.
Purdue University
Shrewsberry is credited for helping lead the Purdue Boilermakers to 8.74 turnovers per game, a nation-leading effort.
Boston Celtics
Shrewsberry joined the Celtics as an assistant coach just before the 2013–14 NBA season reuniting himself with Brad Stevens' staff again.
Return to Purdue
On May 9, 2019, Shrewsberry returned to Purdue as an associate head coach.
