Maxime Jacquet is a Belgian interior designer and television personality. Named The bad Boy of design by ELLE decor. He is a judge for the 2014 A&D Trophy Awards Asia Pacific and was one of the top 25 Los Angeles interior designers in the 2014 LCDQLA (Legends of La Cienega)
Early life
Born in Liege Belgium, Maxime Jacquet always had a passion for art since his early years. After graduating from High School, he worked with several art experts in Belgium. He began by learning the roots of the furniture and decorative arts restoration process which sharpened his eye in identifying valuable decorative items. He then specialized himself in interior design and decoration by advising private owners in buying the most suited decorative elements and art pieces for their interiors.
Career
Interior Design
Maxime Jacquet established in Los Angeles, california in 2010 and soon become the designer of the Hollywood and Famous. As his reputation grew up, he soon turned into a decorator which led him to work with a very exclusive clientele that entrusted his vision. In addition to the residential projects, he expanded his field of operations and started collaborating with other brands by integrating his vision in the product design process. The quality of his art gained recognition as his work got published worldwide in multiple magazines as Elle Decor, Architectural Digest and on television on Bravo TV, NBC and CBS
Maxime Jacquet worked on residential projects on a large geographic scale in areas such as Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood, West Hollywood, building a celebrity clientele which includes Paula Abdul, Lance Collins, Jannik Olander, , Diana Madison amongst others. Jacquet has also contributed to commercial design by creating the first Meskita Boutique in Beverly Hills for the New York fashion designer Alessandra Meskita.
In 2014, He was the youngest decorator to be featured in 2014 LCDQLA dressing the windows of Jean de Merry. Maxime Jacquet is also one of the designer Star Judges with Olivia Putman, Katharine Pooley, Maurizio Pellizzoni, Alan Barr and Ilse Crawford for the 2014 A&D Trophy Awards Asia Pacific.

Maxime is recognized for his cutting edge designs, that most designer don t dare to have which always seem ahead of our time, which earns him a reputation of being an interior trendsetter. Jacquet’s eclectic process incorporating fashion and interiors has become his signature style that has made him highly sought after by art collectors, fashion icons and celebrity personalities around the globe. Jacquet loves to introduce pieces into a space that would typically never be placed next to one another, whether spanning style or period, and create an unexpected contrast.
By designing one apartment located in the Granville Towers, which was originally an apartment building named The Voltaire, built in 1930 in the French Revival style by architect Leland Bryant. The seven-story, 40-unit property was a celebrity magnet from the very beginning and such stars as Ann Sothern, Jack Lord, Arthur Treacher, Janet Gaynor, and Rock Hudson called the place home. Marilyn Monroe even stayed there for a brief while after her divorce from Joe DiMaggio in 1954. The rumor of the building is that she lived in the unit 61 that is the unit Jacquet revamped in 2014. In the 1980s, the property was transformed into a luxury hotel at which point it was renamed "The Granville". A few years later it was transformed yet again, this time into an upscale condominium building, and Hollywood luminaries once again began calling the place home.

Jacquet have been seen on television in the NBC show Open House, Access Hollywood, Bravo TV in Real Housewives of Miami as well as on live in CBS for the show LAX TV Designer Tips.
