Biography
Marnix Leonard Alexander van Rij (born October 25, 1960 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch politician of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA). He was Party Chair from 1999 until 2001 . Since January, 1, 1998, he has been a partner at the professional services firm Ernst & Young. Since June 9, 2015, he has been a member of the Senate.
