Biography
Marketa Kochta (* 14. Juli 1975 in Prag) ist eine ehemalige deutsche Tennisspielerin.
Kochta konnte in ihrer Karriere zwei Turniere gewinnen. Dies waren 1991 das ITF-Turnier in Moulins/Frankreich und 1999 dasjenige im italienischen Spoleto. Ferner stand sie 1993 im Halbfinale in San Diego. Ihre höchste Weltranglistenplatzierung erreichte sie am 18. Juli 1994, als sie den 45. Platz belegte. Ihre ältere Schwester Renata war ebenfalls als Tennis-Profi aktiv. Ihr Vater Jiri, der sie bis 1991 trainierte, ist ein ehemaliger tschechischer Eishockeyspieler und -trainer. Seit 2002 ist sie mit dem Tennisprofi Jiří Vaněk verheiratet, mit dem sie zwei Söhne hat.
