Mari Kartau

Mari Kartau (kunstnikunimega Siram, neiupõlvenimega Sepp, abielus Sobolev; sündinud 9. juunil 1968 Tallinnas) on eesti kunstnik, kunstiteadlane, kuraator ja ajakirjanik.

Lõpetas 1984. aastal Tartu Kunstikooli ning osales aastatel 1985–1988 Eesti Kunstiakadeemia ettevalmistuskursustel. Aastatel 1992–1994 osales Tõnis Vindi Studio 22 tegevuses. Lõpetas 1996. aastal Eesti Kunstiakadeemia kunstiteaduse erialal ning resideerus samal aastal kunstikorraldajana viienädalases residentuuris ArtsLink USA-s. 1997. aastal külastas Amsterdam-Maastrichti suveülikooli kunstikorralduskursuseid (Introduction to Raising Sponsorship for the Arts). 2006. aastal tegutses Helsingis NIFCA residentsis.

2003–2006 õppis Academia Non Gratas Pärnus ja aastal 2010 lõpetas Mainori Majanduskoolis ettevõtlusalase põhikursuse. 2004–2007 oli ta Academia Non Grata rektor ning 2007–2012 töötas Pärnu Linnagalerii kuraatorina, kuni kuraatori ametikoht 2012. aasta sügisel koondati.

Alates 1997. aastast Eesti Kunstnike Liidu liige.

Tema ema on graafik Evi Sepp. Ta oli abielus Vitali Soboleviga.
