Biography
Marcus Antius Crescens Calpurnianus was a Roman politician, fl. around 200.
Calpurnianus served as governor of Macedonia. He was acting governor of Roman Britain around 202, where he officially served as Iuridicus Britanniae. His presence indicates the need for additional legal advice in the province, possibly because of the need to address the problems caused by the recently ended rule of the usurper, Clodius Albinus or to help plan the division of Britain into the two provinces of Britannia Inferior and Britannia Superior which took place around ten years later.
