Lisa Opie (born May 9, 1991) is an American beauty pageant titleholder, actress, model, and swimsuit designer.
Early life
Opie completed undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in history. She was involved with the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Opie is the creator and designer of luxury swimwear brand Vizcaya Swimwear.
Modeling
Opie is an internationally published model . She has been featured in magazines such as "Zoo Weekly", "People", "Daily Mail", "Huffington Post", "Yahoo!", "MSN" and "New York Post".
Pageant experience
Miss United States
Opie was Miss Virgin Islands 2013 in the Miss United States Organization. She was fourth runner-up at Miss United States 2012. She competed in Miss United States again the next year and placed in the Top 15.
Miss Nationwide
Opie was crowned Miss Nationwide 2014 in December 2013. She represented Florida in the pageant.
Miss Florida USA
In December 2014 Opie was crowned Miss South Florida USA 2016. She represented South Florida at the Miss Florida USA pageant in July 2015.
Lady Code
In September 2013, Opie created a women's wellness and lifestyle blog, Lady Code. She was a victim of bullying during her time at Williamsburg Christian Academy and Jamestown High School (Virginia), and uses Lady Code to promote women's empowerment and anti-bullying.
Vizcaya Swimwear
Opie and Franz Orban founded Vizcaya Swimwear in 2012. She credits her swimwear line's success to her network in the modeling and pageant industry. In 2014 Vizcaya became the official swimwear sponsor of the Miss United States Organization.
