Lichelle Wong

Lichelle Wong (born 25 January 1990) is a Dutch female artistic gymnast, representing her nation at international competitions. As a junior she participated at the 2004 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships finishing 6th in the junior team event. She participated as an elite at European [2006,2007,2008] and world championships, including at the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She then went on to compete for the University of California, Los Angeles from 2010-2013 and majored in Psychobiology. In 2011 she was the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award and was a honorable mention of the PAC-12 All-Academic. In 2012 she earned NACGC/W Scholastic All-America and honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic honors and in 2013 she became an All-American on vault.
