Layla Taj hails from Greek/Egyptian heritage and promotes Egyptian Culture presenting her multi media program “Journey Down The Nile' which educates the public about the diversified regional dances of Egypt. It has been presented in Cultural Centers and Ivy League Universities. She is the President of The Egyptian Cultural Performing Arts Society INC. A well respected international star dancer, Layla Taj also offers showcases for formal weddings. She is noted for performing at ”The Wedding of the Century " at the Ca' d'Zan , a historical museum in Sarasota Florida (John and Mable Ringling Museum).Originally from New York, her office is located in southwest Florida.
