Lani Billard (born 20 June 1979) is a Canadian actress, drummer and singer, she is notorious for her TV film role as Elizabeth "Busy" Ramone on the television series Ready or Not from 1993–1997. Before that she was on a show called F.R.O.G. on TVO.Since then Billard has appeared in Owning Mahowny where she played Tori the Teller, as well appeared in Sarah Polley's award-winning film Stories We Tell.
Billard was raised Jewish and attended Unionville High School in Markham, Ontario, where she graduated in 1997.
Billard has since her Ready Or Not fame become a vocalist, singing independently and collaborating with Canadian acts where her vocals are featured on the following local Toronto Ontario artists tracks iLL Vibe, L.S, & Grossman. She even has done backing vocals, and drumming for her fellow Ready Or Not cast mate, Tamara Podemski for Podemski's music group "Spirit Nation" which is entirely sung in her native Ojibwe language. Lani is professionally trained to play drums & percussion. She has a 3 octave singing range. She can also sing a wide variety of music styles: including Jazz, Pop, Rock. Soul, Funk, R&B. She stopped TV film appearances in 2015, until the reboot production for Ready Or Not was announced as a teaser update on Billard's IG Instagram account May 28, 2020. Lani is openly lesbian and has supported local LGBTQ+2 events in Ontario for a lot of years.
