Biography
Konstanze Klosterhalfen (born 18 February 1997) is a German athlete who specialises in middle-distance running. In 2016, she won the bronze medal at the 3000 m event in World Junior Championships. She ran in the 1500m at the 2016 Summer Olympics and was placed 10th in the semi-finals. On 11th December 2016, Klosterhalfen destroyed the U20 Womens field at the 2016 European Cross Country Championships in Chia as she stormed to victory having won the same competition the previous year in Hyères. She has been heralded a future star of female distance running and is currently leading a resurgence in German running as one of the most talented young endurance runners around.
