Biography
Kevin Seawright founded RPS Solutions LLC in 2015. The company focuses on creating affordable homes by renovating and purchasing properties throughout Baltimore and its neighboring areas. Through RPS solutions, Seawright has helped limited income homebuyers in the area become first time homeowners. The company partners with several organizations like the National Community Stabilization Trust to aid first-time homebuyers realize their dreams. Seawright is currently RPS Solutions LLC’s Managing Partner. He is also the former Chief Financial and Executive Vice President of Newark Community Economic Development Corporation.
Early Life and Education
Kevin Seawright grew up in urban Philadelphia before moving to Baltimore as an adult. He earned his business administration master’s degree from Almeida University in 2006 and received the Executive Leadership Certification from the Mendoza College of Notre Dame. Seawright credits his time at Notre Dame as a significant contributor to his career achievements. As he grew up, he would see many people, including his friends and family, continue renting even in adulthood.
Career before RPS Solutions
Kevin Seawright started his career working for Baltimore City, where he held several leadership roles. He began as the city's recreation and parks division's chief Financial Officer, then the Baltimore City Government's Chief Operating Officer and Vice President. He later became the Payroll director. His last position at the city's government was the Property and Facilities' Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Kevin used the experience and knowledge acquired from working for the city to hold and excel in senior management positions at multiple companies before creating his business. RPS Solutions offers various services, including acquisition, development, asset sales and management, and governmental contracting. In 2011, Seawright became the Tito Construction's Vice President of Operations and Human Capital, which resulted in his appointment as Maryland's Operations Executive director in 2012. He cites his position at Newark as one of any graduate's more exceptional achievements.
Kevin Seawright’s strengths include cost-productive turnovers, business satisfaction, critical thinking, quality preventive maintenance programs, and impeccable communication skills. He has extensive experience in construction and facilities management, finance, property management, and real estate. Seawright has used his property, financial, and facilities management skills to work in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C, and Newark.Kevin Seawright is a doting father and a dedicated sports fan. He has been a volunteer basketball coach at Suffolk Virginia Recreation since November 2015.
