Biography
Jordan Harbinger is an American lawyer and Sirius XM radio talk show host. He is best known for being the co-founder of the dating and social dynamics podcast The Art of Charm.
Harbinger was born and raised in Royal Oak, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Michigan. While attending graduate school, he started his own podcast on the topics of social dynamics and social engineering, which attracted thousands of listeners every week.
Upon graduating in 2006, Harbinger initially began working as a financial attorney on Wall Street. After being laid off less than one year later, he began producing podcast content full-time.
In 2013 Harbinger demonstrated at DEF CON how easily a person can be connected with someone who may not be what they claim to be, based on the Robin Sage experiment of 2010.
Harbinger co-founded The Art of Charm podcast in 2006. In 2007, Sirius XM offered Harbinger a position as a talk show host for his program on its online and satellite radio platforms. The show has featured guests including Tim Ferriss, Gary Vaynerchuk, Seth Godin, and Carol Dweck. As of July 2017 it has published over 828 episodes. The Art of Charm podcast is produced in Los Angeles.
Jordan also writes for a number of online outlets, including Inc., Order of Man, Aspiring Gentleman, Business Insider, and Entrepreneur.
Harbinger currently lives in San Jose, California.
