Biography
John Schriffen is a biracial sports reporter for CBS Sports. John can be seen passionately reporting college sports as well as Army/Navy games. On weekends he serves on a panel of sports experts called That Other Pre Game Show including Tony Gonzalez, London Fletcher, Adan Shein and Amy Trask.
John previously worked as one of the youngest ABC News correspondents in New York City. Schriffen previously interned for ABC’s sister network ESPN.
Before ABC News, John spent several years at NBC4 in Washington where he covered the White House, Capitol Hill, and contributed to special coverage as Hurricane Irene barreled up the East Coast in 2011.
John began his career as a sports anchor and reporter for News 12 in the Bronx. Though he graduated from Dartmouth College; he also attended Howard University where he worked at The Hilltop student newspaper. John is a native New Yorker who graduated from the prestigious Dwight School, and also attended Hunter College High School, an elite magnate school on Manhattan's Upper East Side, that is based on a rigorous entrance exam of the top students in New York City's five boroughs.
