Biography
John Abel (1770 - 1819) of Carmarthenshire was a Welsh Independent minister, son of William Abel, one of the founders of Capel Newydd in their home village of Llanybri. He was inducted as minister of Capel Sul, Kidwelly in 1794, and also kept a school in the area.
