Biography

Joan Pilsbury Alcock BA MA DipEd PhD, FSA is an archeologist and historian and an Honorary Fellow of London South Bank University. She was elected in 1977 as a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.

She was Principal Lecturer at the School of Hospitality, Food and Product Management, South Bank University, London, now School of Applied Sciences at South Bank University, London, UK.
