Biography
Jiang Xingquan, Liaoning province Xingcheng County, was born in 1940, the Chinese professional basketball coach, who twice served as the Chinese national men's basketball coach, he was elected to the new Chinese basketball 50.
Basketball career
Jiang Xingquan graduated in 1958 from the Shenyang Institute of physical education foundation, between 1960 and 1970, played for the Liaoning team, also have been selected for the Chinese men's basketball team two, retired in 1970 as the Liaoning men's basketball team coach. In 1990 he became the first Chinese men's basketball team coach, led the team won the three Asian Basketball Championship and in 1994 led the Chinese men's basketball team for the first time into the world basketball championship quarter finals. In 1999, Jiang Xingquan again as the Chinese men's basketball team coach post, lead the team again won the Asian Basketball Championship in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney led the Chinese team won the tenth prize.
