Biography

Istiqbal Khan is a Pakistani politician who served as member of the National Assembly of Pakistan.

He was born to Abdul Matin Khan.

Political career

He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan from NA-28 (Bunair) on Awami National Party ticket in 2008 by-polls.

He was made minister of state in 2010 and has also served as special assistant to the prime minister of Pakistan with the status of minister of state.

In 2013, he left Awami National Party to join Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F).
